Stuff that's coming and giveaway!

I figured I would update for those two followers that are reading this (haha)...

Next week is International Lolita Day! But I'm sure you already knew that. Anyways, I'm celebrating by going to my very first meet-up that Sunday. It's at this place called Paris in a Cup, an hour away from my house (which is pretty far, mind you, but there aren't any active communities closer to me). When I went to PMX, I felt I sort of missed out because I didn't really get to talk to other lolitas as much as I would have wanted. Hopefully I'll do better at the meet-up, though! I'll be wearing my sparkly new Innocent World jsk.

in a dream....

I went to PMX convention on Nov. 12 and 13. I stayed in the same hotel as the convention, the Hilton. It was so much fun! I spent every last cent I'd saved up, though (but it was worth it!).

This is what I wore on Friday:
It's very.....ama lolita?

Blouse: Some random boutique in France
Vest: Vintage
Skirt: Alice and the Pirates
Socks: Baby, the Stars Shine Bright
Shoes: (once again, you can't see them) some random shoe shop in France
Rose-hair-thing: Yardage Town

I was going to curl my hair that day, but I didn't know we wouldn't get our room until 3... and we arrived around 12.... so I had to change, do my hair and makeup in the tiny bathroom with a couple of cosplayers who were touching up on their outfits and another lolita who was trying to clean up some clothes that had gotten dirty in the suitcase. (I felt bad for her, what a nightmare!)

On Friday, I got to see the panels of Yumi Fujiwara, the Innocent World designer, and Miki Nohmoto, the Alice and the Pirates designer. It was very
inspirational to hear them talk! I filmed almost all of it.
I also bought a BTSSB lucky pack at the Fashion Hall for 35$, which
included a bonnet, some socks, and some stationary. Usually, only one of those things cost that much and I could actually see the content of the lucky pack, so it was great deal! I also bought the September KERA magazine for only 5$, another great deal!

This was my outfit on Saturday.
It sort of has a country-ish feel to it, I think.

JSK: Hand made
Blouse: same random boutique in France
Tights: JCPenny
Shoes: same as above
Bow: Hand made

This time I was able to curl my hair and do my makeup more...successfully (not that you can see it, haha)

On Saturday, I re-visited the Fashion Hall with my mom, and fell in love with an Innocent World jsk. I tried it...and bought it. It's my first brand jsk, and I am completely in love with it! Not to mention, I also got to speak with Ms. Fujiwara, who was also wearing the same jsk in the dusty rose colorway.
Later on, I changed into my new dress and bonnet and went to the Starlight Fashion Festival and got a picture with Ms. Fujiwara. I was so nervous the whole time, my lips were trembling! When I went back to my hotel room, I wondered if I had dreamed the whole thing. I was afraid to go to sleep because I didn't want to wake up and find that I never actually met Ms. Fujiwara and never bought the IW dress. But it was reality!

so happy

I received my postcards the other day...
I'm off to PMX tommorow! I'm so excited!
